@ph You sound ignorant! Starlink beats VZ's Wireless Internet product like a drum! Best yet it is mobile and people use it very successfully in all of the rural markets we promised to reach but weren't smart enough to figure out how to service.
Not only does our 5G Internet service pale in comparison to Musk's, but VZ helped Joe Biden and friends spy on Trump and his friends.

@fw Fox News told him that the union members are co-mies. Meanwhile he votes Republican and gets to watch Elon Musk become a TRILLIONAIRE while the DOGE board decides that our SS and Medicare are wasteful and fraud. Rod Serling couldn't make this stuff up.
@dd Management here and in management for 22 years....I need to understand why you hate union members. You make these comments but I have to ask you. What have they done to YOU? You need to save your energy and understand that they are working parents and adults just like you. You need to understand that there is good folks and lazy folks in both union AND non-union jobs...this includes management roles. You spew ignorance when you based it on some anonymous posts on here. The fact that they have someone fighting for their jobs makes it the difference on whether you get riffed and they don't. If anything you should be congratulating them for finding a way to stay employed. Seek help!
I had 5g home before I got Fiber, and it was pretty good, not as good as fiber, definitely as good as cable modem. It’s just priced too high, you can’t charge more than cable.
Elon Musk and Starlink are the ONLY real 'FWA'. Wireless is superb when paired with fiber to the home. Fact! All VPs need to be fired! All of them! They allowed the company to be worn, torn, and sold to the cheapest bidders and worst customers.
VZW is a sham compared to what it used to be when Seidenberg ran the show. 5G and 5G Home ruined our reputation.

What was the “ wired service we had previously…”? that FWA is on a par with?
I really wanted FWA to work since i hate those union pieces of cr-p but it’s terrible for the average user. I can’t game on it for nothing. Basic only.
FWA is a big part of the failure at Verizon. It’s not good, it will never be good. This was Lowell and Hans’ baby and it was a complete disaster. Stock is down, morale is down, subs to wireless are down, hiring in India, firing in America, etc, etc. Wireless tech su-ks for home usage and will never even be close to ‘good enough’ internet.
@d1 we have had it for 4-5 years now. My teenage sons, in college now, both played Xbox heavily and never complained about latency, I specifically asked them to tell me if they noticed much difference between the wired service we had previously. I’m sure there is or can be latency issues, but the vast majority of people including gamers should be perfectly fine.
@aw fwa is still riddled with latency issues, fine for any family without an Xbox in their living room though
I will take 20+ years to make everything fiber… sounds great but Bz has been replacing cooper for over 25 years and still has over 1M units to hit in legacy footprint.. add in Frontier and talking another 20!
FWA is the answer… over 400 private Fiber ISPs nationwide wide. Just not happening
