What exactly changed at D&W? Can someone clarify what happened?
That org was always protected by the former CEO. Everyone keeps blaming sales for not selling, but that group can’t seem to get anything right. The head of D&W had been flying under the radar for years and whenever she faces accountability, she runs and cries to the CEO and HR for protection. Just look at the failures: CPO role, deep sector, rollout of mercury, not to mention the damage done to research under her purview. How on earth did we put someone in charge of product when she never built a single product or wrote a line of code?
It’s time to stop blaming sales for everything.
We've got to stop it with the reorgs. Shifting poor performers and giving too much to people we think are good is NOT WORKING! If they failed, let them go! If we need a talent, hire for it!
We need talent upgrades and better strategies, not another rearrangement. The DW reorg did that once again, but nothing helped upgrade talent or fix strategy. We shuffle one or two people but change nothing.
