@13e I have no idea why the hypersensitiverati are down voting you. The post is clearly about US workers' benefits. How anyone does anything for benefits in another country, especially if they're "fine" has no bearing on the post's topic.

Benefits for Canadian employees have been reduced earlier this year. Copayment for dr-gs has doubled, some dr-gs aren't covered anymore. Lifeinsurance benefits were halved. The moneytary part of worktime awards have been cancelled.

And deductibles went up, AND it's united fu--ing healthcare, so all the do is deny coverage anyhow.

Ex-employee here. My USA Medicare dr-g plan cost doubled, so 9.5% isn’t the end of the world.
