ANS sellers couldn’t tell the difference between ssl offload and ssl termination. The SAs sure can. If you think the ANS sellers could, that’s a laugh.

@jk ANS as a separate BU too never made sense. I hope the mgmt there is given the boot and ICs merged into VCF. Useless bloat.
@jk I’m sure they will do very well. Perhaps it would have been a good litmus test to merely ask all VCF sellers to explain their knowledge of 5tuple security or the difference between ssl offload and ssl termination. They can’t. They aren’t going to sell ANS but they will force it on the customers that remain. Doesn’t matter. Life goes on and for those affected there’s no longer a back of the mind expectation that every day can be the day that the new cuts happen. It’s nice.
@OP ANS Sales Team all laid off. Every GEO. SAs remain for now. Selling of Security and Avi will be done by the core. Apparently GEO leaders told Hock that ANS sales not needed and that the core sellers could do the selling (given there in depth knowledge of security) and also drive consumption of vDefend and Avi.

It seems its just sales. I dont think engineering got affected at all, at least not in VCF or AOD.
