Just heard CS talking about AI. All at beginning of this -- in terms of efficiency. I intemperate this as CS is looking for AI to increase efficiency. Not too many folks on this board have talked about AI at Wells. Only comments about tech is that it is horrible and way behind.

So long as the OC maintains is iron grip on all authority, decision making and agency, no one cares.
Want to know what will have a massive benefit for efficiency? Having processes that actually work and not take literally months of meetings and bugging people to do their f@@king job to enable tech
2027 - 2028 will be the true test. AI Iis here to stay, but how disruptive it will be remains to be seen.
If it continues along its current trajectory, I have a hard time envisioning a world without massive unemployment.
Not everyone can just go be plumbers.
We will see how the hundreds of billions being invested today will shake out in a couple years. Many AI startups will fail, but a few will emerge as leaders.
The world has experienced this type of tectonic shift in the past, but what sets AI apart is the potential breadth of impact. This isn't a loom or tractor threatening just a segment of an industry.
I use AI. I think CoPilot is trash compared to Gemini, but it helps me solve problems more quickly so I can move on to other tasks. 30 minutes here, an hour there add up over time. And that’s just one employee. Scale it up to tens of thousands and that is some major cash.
All companies are looking to use AI for efficiencies. Is that a surprise Charlie would be looking to do the same?
