Yes. It’s a load of bull. Like everything else in society, the hard working wealthy sadly have to subsidize the rest.

@b5 you find it shocking that people who make significantly less than you, pay less for healthcare??

lol @ people down voting the anti ACA posts. It was an obvious scam to steal trillions from working people in order to grow gov authority and, oh yeah, but some votes from the non-productive class. Obama promised $2000+/year in healthcare savings for the "average family". Not sure who average is, but who can claim with a straight face that their health care is cheaper now than the day the law was passed. Anyone? Still have your same doctor? Said you could keep them as well. It was all lies, and obviously so.

Beyond that, anyone who thinks that government makes ANYTHING less expensive via their meddling clearly has no grasp of reality. That's not how it ever has worked, or ever will. College is subsidized like crazy, anyone see it getting cheaper? Healthcare is the same way. The more gov has got involved, the lower the quality and the higher the price. Everyone agrees VA care, for example, su-ks. And yet, millions of people demand 'VA care for all'. It's a joke and exhibit A of how our education system has completely failed.

Mine is going up 13% or $35/month. Shocking that those under $48k pay less than half what I do.

@ac - Well it sure as f8ck involves the government doing less... they are the payer for 50% of all medical via medicaid and medicare. It was much much worse post Obamacare when good plans were taxed and forcing companies to forgo quality healthcare options to employees.

whether it's $10 per check or $1000, costs keep rising. 10% for health insurance, 30% for auto, 10% for rent, food, gas, etc. and for all the Obama care folks, with the subsidies likely going away they will be in for a ride awakening

@a4 It’s the totality of these increases that is squeezing lower earners HARD. Wages aren’t keeping up and people are suffering. I take your point of ONLY 10%, but take my point that is an additional 10% on top of everything else.

10% on what though? $500/month? So, you need a $50/month raise or $600 to cover?

Not a fan of consistently increases costs, but keep it real at least

I wonder if Obamacare is cheaper at this point. AND Merit? It wasn’t even inflationary last year. Not to mention those who received an unwarranted IM/0% so Ms. Manager could promote her protectors.
