It is basically a union ran by Verizon . Around 2003 was when they sold all future hires out and you could see the unions end would be around the year 2030

The Union has been a complete and utter disaster since 2005. Have 3 years left and I'm done with the union , verizon and New York. The CWA continues to take their dues out every week with ZERO return on investment. Union equals a lose , lose on contracts or extensions or whatever they wanna f*en call it.......Zero faith in CWA. Enjoy your corner office district 1 in Manhattan as your members continue to pay for it and your b.s. presidents meetings in Vegas....You failed us. Hope the nurses wake up to you b.s.

If your entire career was as a union employee, let your union cover the difference in the premiums. He-l, you paid union dues your entire career, so you should be able to collect. If the union doesn't have your money, then they are a corrupt organization, just as we all suspected.

If you retired and can't pay bills I'd say that's a problem and you should probably sign up to work at Wendy's. Why wait for a strike ....you should have been working this whole time. And what if there's no strike ?....You're just going to go belly up?

Are you talking about Oxy retiree premiums? I didn’t think they sent out notices this early on new premiums for next year.
