Another DEI Investment

Just kidding…

Confucius say: software revenue from oil $$ counts the same as from domestic $$.

Confucius also say: no Saudi visits to HQ in June

What say you?

What’s the real strategy here?

@tr so the gripe here is that SAS is doing smart business?

“well I'm sorry, if a certain demographic is …”

Well IM sorry, if the data is telling us that a certain demographic is more likely to cause mass shootings we should listen to the data!

well I'm sorry, if a certain demographic ...

AI can offer amazing insights into data. It can reveal connections between disparate concepts that the human brain is not equipped to make.

It will also tell you that you are God and then encourage you to off yourself.

So, yeah, keep trusting it, believing in it, and investing in it. Surely, it doesn't need any guidance and won't lead you astray.

just watched the SAS DEI leader get on stage and say........we have to restrict AI from giving biased results......well I'm sorry, if a certain demographic is very likely to cause a car accident, or defaults on loans at the highest percentage or say it 20x more likely to be arrested for violent crime, we should listen to the data...........AI has already started figuring it out, don't worry.......

Incentive? The Spice must flow!

An expensive, exclusive product for analyzing regulated goods is marketed into a conservative, paternalistic society. The bet is that Sharif WILL like it. Rock the C Building and all that.

the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is incentivising foreign multinational companies

Opposite of (critical, cynical) shitposting (interesting that word was not previously censored) is (enthusiastic, hyped, and often misleading) gasposting. There’s little doubt the Saudi’s incentives, in the end, involve money or some economic ($) benefit. That aligns with the previous post referencing strip clubs. Sure, it’s smart business (because money) but is it anything else?

The real strategy is pretty simple if you put even just a little bit of effort into researching it versus doing lazy shitposting here: https://www.centuroglobal.com/article/set-up-in-saudi-arabia/

The strategy is to rock the casbah with the awesome power of Viya — Sharif don’t like it.

The strategy is to be on stage while the Saudis make it rain with sovereign wealth fund dolla dolla bills yo.

Wow. So anything "not American" is DEI now.

Anything that impedes unfettered capitalism is DEI, silly. Where have you been?

We should not call this DEI, even in jest: because that term inflames both sides. IMO this is just free-market capitalism: capital flowing toward where it gets the best returns.

Why the best returns are in Saudi is an interesting question- I would think the tech talent is cheaper and better in India or China or The Philippines or Vietnam.

Inference: some deal is happening here, and we don’t know what it is. Do we, Mr. Jones?

@ae here here!
OP...what an incredibly silly thing to say.
And as a non-American, or more accurately...a non-US citizen...really quiet offensive to me.
