$10 a share isn't news for this stock. Anyone that has it should expect it to hit this often. Not sure why this is some red alert or something. If you aren't getting them via RSU's, or buying a very large amount to profit take on the small rises from time to time, I can't think of a reason you'd own it. If you are getting them via RSU's makes absolutely zero sense to hold onto them past the vestment date. Always sell. You can find more uses for the money then holding Ford stock any day of the week.

Apple stock was dropping when DF was there, the moment he left Apple, the stock skyrocketed.

@c5 You do not know what stupidity DF has done with SW in last 3 years. He broke up all departments into pieces and eliminated the best workers. Why would stock go high with him ? It will go to 0.01cent or lower.

@a3

You post is not clear, but if you meant to say JF will be out and DF takes his place as ceo and brings Ford stock to record highs, then you are correct and I agree with you.

The Ford family cares not about the share price as long as the dividend payments they live off keep arriving.

Get back to work, they have caviar to buy!

Mach1 LLM response for Ford's historically lowest ever stock price and CEO at the time.

All-Time Low: The lowest recorded end-of-day price was $0.64 on October 28, 1981 (adjusted for splits)

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ford Motor Company in 1981 was Philip Caldwell.

  • Philip Caldwell served as CEO from October 1, 1979, until his retirement on February 1, 1985.
  • He was the first CEO of Ford who was not a member of the Ford family, succeeding Henry Ford II.
  • Caldwell is credited with leading Ford's significant turnaround during a very difficult economic period for the auto industry in the early 1980s.

Farley has a lot of wiggle room if it goes to $5 a share.
