There will definitely be more layoffs. Potentially around February

Kroger is full of Indians from India in upper executive management and its no surprise of the off shore. Off shore labor is cheap. With the new h1b visa requirements we can hope less "executives" will be placed over USA citizens.
One may hope at least.
I spend my money elsewhere and even when employed because I have options I never shopped at Kroger stores.
I have no idea, but I bet there's more in the next 6 months. They've moved everyone around and changed direction (for the 10th time in 5 years). Kroger seems schizophrenic from the management side. I don't trust them about job security at all. They are evaluating every single project, spending and cost, including you as an employee.
For my group we're now under 3 layers of Indian management so I bet they'll be pushing for offshoring to cut cost too.
The company simply doesn't care about its employees and RTO was proof of this. The merger lost us what almost a billion dollars..? They're going to want to make that up somehow....
I don't work at Kroger but my mom does and I'm worried about her.
