shocked that the media aren’t going after XOM with massive offshoring and blatant disregard for American jobs in America. The media should be all over this and shining a spotlight on jobs going to India. How long before we get Indians coming to the field and turning valves because they are cheaper than us.

@d2 This is a long way off, if it happens at all.
AI is going to replace us many times over in the future. It is coming and you know it when politicians start trying to tax for jobs that are replaced by AI and robots. Less real workers equal less taxes for the irs, ss, and medicare. If you don’t have a hefty retirement or other income you will be in trouble just like the millions of others who can’t find a job. Just next year the govt is getting rid of the 401k catch up contributions to traditional ira’s. One can still add to a Roth, but those over 50 will no longer get the pre tax catchup benefit to ease their yearly tax bill.
@bf I love it when an overweight middle aged office worker compares themselves to a pro athlete.
Can you even dribble a basketball?
@OP Business media talks about it all the time.
Your problem, as was told to you the last time you posted this, is that you get information from garbage sources.
Offshoring like replacing an NBA team with 5 random tall guys that can’t play basketball but get paid so little that it looks good on the balance sheet. It was never gonna work, but made the management that constantly gets rotated look good. It’s destined to end either through AI or when this disaster of low quality work by low cost centers can’t be ignored anymore
Your assuming the mainstream
Media is for the American taxpayer.
@a7 curry bros had already arrived in USA! And they are supporting their own community. We need Trump to keep American jobs for American! T
