AT&T made some half a55ed promises to smooth out the RTO experience. I've not seen changes of any substance. Tell us where your office is located and list a few specific things that must be addressed to make that work location somewhat tolerable.

and yet they refuse to address these basic things......
@a7 then just make Tues-Thurs mandatory. What’s the big deal?
This company is toxic and so is the leadership. 8/1 email is a great example. Sp-t in your face and tell you your opinion doesn’t matter. Cancel RTO to start the fix.
@a9 not everyone grew up in a broken home like you, chump
@a5 original poster here. I work in Dallas.
Just work in office as prescribed 9-5 M-F. Otherwise all can be handled overseas. Simplÿ as this folks. Especially if you are not currently customer facing
@a6 they do pay for parking Director and above
Elon Musk faces mass exodus as top aides flee all 5 companies in major shake-up "Many top employees left due to poor work-life balance."
I don't care where I sit, but I return home anytime there is no parking. Some employees park in the lots of other businesses, but there are always tow trucks prowling and the signs indicate the fee is $375.
“Office holiday parties are always a good time.”
Ha! Maybe in the 1970s.
The best time of the year for RTO will be here soon with the holidays approaching. Office holiday parties are always a good time. Get in the spirit!
First let them drive some consistency Why are some organizations still at 3 days while others are 5..
@a2 I sit in 3 to 5 different desks each week. Has no bearing on performance.
Employees driving 25 mph through the ATT parking lot while talking on their phone.
No meeting rooms available for meetings on short notice because they are being used by the same people every day as personal offices.
Filthy break room kitchen areas, and far too many people don't wash their hands before leaving the restrooms, but they will rinse them for 2 seconds in the kitchen sinks.
Restrooms - Don't . Touch . Anything.
Thieves - Many personal items grow legs around lunch time when desks are vacant.
I'ventured
" Flexibility to be able to wfh sometimes - example sometimes I’m not feeling well and would prefer to stay home, maybe my kid is sick, maybe I’ve got a dr appt mid day or later than I would like and driving in is a big disruption, maybe I’m working a 1/2 day and need to leave early. But we as workers need to make sure we are working and not doing other things though."
Except you know why they can't come out and allow this.
Because you know everyone's "I prefer to stay home" day will be Fridays and or Mondays.
- In Dallas get better, closer parking than the Ross garage.
- Pay for employee parking
- Abolish the presence report
- Assigned desks
OP, you tell me your work location so we all know where the low IQ employees hang out.
- Assigned desks
- Eliminate the presence report

This is like saying the captain of the Titanic failed to address the problems that came with running into icebergs.
Imagine asking someone to come in the office everyday and not even having a consistent dedicated space for them to sit. The most basic thing you need to work.
