Was his message: We did a few layoffs to invest in ai, but it was not performance based AND our focus for the next 6 months is to integrate AI in all our code so that they can more easily get rid of us?

Funny thing is I was the “AI expert “ in my ex-team and it made no difference.
Everyone, even senior management, all are on the line!
To balance productivity gains, CX will continue the focus to improve JDeveloper. Just ask how much time invested on weekly productivity calls.
I remember from Larry's book, "If you are not in Development or Sales, what are you doing for me?". Something like that.

They don't have to pay healthcare or a salary to an AI agent... lol
