Has anyone else been asked about volunteering to attend training for future strike support?

Director asked for volunteer names to start training in January. We were told it's in preparation for a possible strike in August.

The person posting this must be in management. They start training(it’s like a 2 week crash course) on how to do our work when we are out. They are taking precautions in case there is a strike. This doesn’t mean a strike is imminent.

The reason why the unions mom about strike is because I am 90% sure they have a contract in place is it’s just all smoking mirrors. The union and the company is playing to make it seem as if they’re deep in the trenches trying to make things right Hahahahaha
