Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Is San leandro office closing and moving the teams to concord?

Heard that San leandro location will close and teams will move to concord.
Is this only for few teams or entire san leandro office is going to be closed and all teams will be moving to concord location ?

Nothing smart about paying a million bucks for a shack or 13% to the state. And yes, I've lived there.

@de. Really that would be fantastic to get a fat package. All the brains are in Cali.

I have it on good authority that all CA tech will be moved in 2026 to meet Charlie's operation goals. Sorry.

@cy just wait... the new standard is bench style seating. That's what they'll be doing with the new floors at CIC.

SL is crowded, Concord is crowded, and people don't want to go to SF.

Nailed it. Whoever decided "low cube walls" was a good idea should be downsized. One size does not fit all, and it's trend following BS. Their war in business privacy is madness and aggravating as all get out. Probably the whole point of it.

We were told San Leandro was closing for health reasons. I had a few co workers who wanted to go to San Leandro instead of the city and were told no the health issues aren't fixable and people would be more educated to concord or SF.

There's no room in Concord. They told everyone to go into the office and now its packed. Worse most the cubes are missing proper equipment, 80% of the cubes the monitors or cables or mice are missing. Even worse is the cubes are low so you hear everything from everyone around you, and since you don't know who they are, they are super rude and uncaring if they take a call w their monitors. Just a really bad environment all around. When i could think clearly at home what would be a 5 min deal, now can take all day because i go down the wrong rabbit hole and think someone is watching my clicks and keyboard strokes, they've tanked productivity.

Office lease will be crazy expensive to break. They have no incentive to close. Where did you hear this?
