Anyone feeling comfortable sharing what org and group they were just laid off from? 😬😬 They’ve really done a number on Deal Managers, Deal Specialists, SalesHelp, Deal Desk in the last couple years, but the last two rounds of layoffs I’m shocked at…there was already so little headcount with all that work being rolled into one. Have been shocked to see some of the names that were axed. Really sad.

The largest affected group was Technical Analyst 4 – Support, with the deepest mix of senior, mid-career staff.
Patterns suggest Oracle’s flattening of support tiers, removing overlapping Level 4–5 positions while keeping lower-level analysts.
The majority of layoffs occurred in technical development and support functions (developers, analysts, QA, program management).
Mid-level engineers (levels 4–5) were the most impacted tiers — indicating flattening of the org and cost optimization at experienced bands.
Business operations, compliance, and marketing functions saw minimal layoffs, likely due to lower redundancy or smaller team sizes.
