He said the firm has enough H-1 talent in the US, will renew selectively, and wants higher local participation. Industry voices see a broader reset in visa strategy. They expect peers like Amazon, Cognizant, and Microsoft to lean more on L-1 transfers, avoiding about 100,000 dollars per H-1B applicant, which could curb new H-1B demand and speed adoption of L-1 routes for US staffing.
