The next time something bad happens here I hope the world finds out we’ve outsourced all of SRR and most of the process safety MOC reviews to Malaysia. I don’t think it will even matter if that is the cause. When the public finds out they’re going to freak, and I am so ready for it.

Hiring field personnel strictly because of their race and gender is a recipe for disaster. Many of these women are incapable of turning a valve or scaling a tower in a timely manner.

Fortunately nobody was injured in the latest mishap.

On October 4, 2025, a small explosion occurred at the Delek Big Spring Refinery in Big Spring, Texas, around 7:30 a.m. local time. The incident sparked a fire that was quickly contained by refinery crews, with no injuries reported among workers or first responders.
