What would be the rationale for waiting?
@d3 I was thinking to take time to process and begin the job search with a clear head and plan.
Why on earth wait?
If you are notified you are being laid off, start applying THAT DAY.
Also sign up for unemployment ASAP.
It’s taking a year to a year and a half to get a job. Yes. I’m applying.
