Wasn’t there a fatality a couple weeks ago in the Bakken? Is this another incident? Was it an employee?

Don't worry though, since it was a day before integration was official, it doesn't count against our metrics. Since that's all that matters. Certainly executive bonuses won't be impacted. Praise be.

Sorry to hear about this; condolences to his/her family and loved ones. Pig launching / receiving has a history of serous incidents across the industry. Failure to fully bleed off pressure before opening the pig catcher, trapped pressure behind the pig, faulty pressure gauges, sudden release of plugged lines/ piping, definitely a potentially hazardous operation. If not performed with procedural discipline, verification of zero pressure, staying clear from the line of fire of the door/pig bad things can happen; this task has claimed several lives over the years (industry in general, not Chevron specific).
