Badge Swipes / Terminations

Have a q: have some people been let go for not being in the office frequently enough (getting enough badge swipes per week)...

Showing up to swipe your badge should be the easiest thing any of us do, if we want to keep our jobs. Agree or disagree with value of being there, that’s up for debate, but if you don’t show up expect some negative reaction.

GK has been sharpening up the axe and getting ready to start swinging it around at people's heads if they don't comply. Doesn't sound like a lot have been hacked yet. Maybe she's starting with a steak kn--e first to make an example of a few. Then the battle axe comes out if people continue to resist.

Yes. A colleague in a different department had 6 people let go due to badge swipes. Both exempt and non exempt including two SVP roles.

People have been given various levels of warnings but I personally haven't heard of anyone getting fired for it. Yet.

I'd guess they're saving them all for Q4. Boost those numbers before the end of the year.
