The dev and infra are in general fte juniors or outsourced. The dev seniors are miles behind in updates with technology. Outsourced folks are hired with 1/2 level above they real level, and have no care for long term quality(closing a half-defined ticket by a clueless lead is counted as done).
Director and SVP is just the chery.

The org is doomed because the people in position to create the technology are mediocre
And the leaders pretend all is good and great

It's crazy how much of the company's resources have been dedicated to the SBG dumpster fire.

There is not a single standout product from SBG. Everything is rot and tech debt. The only reliable sales opportunities are for low-margin yesteryear commodity products like AnyConnect and Duo.

Want firsthand evidence what a mess SBG is? Look at your own Cisco laptop and see just how many "agents" are installed to collect "telemetry". You are dogfooding SBG's junk. The overlap is ridiculous. We need new laptops every year to keep up with the resource drain of the numerous "agents" Cisco installs to mostly do the same thing.

Is it any wonder SBG misses its business targets even in a tech bubble?

No one in ELT has the courage to tell CR that SBG has already failed.
