Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

People in the office are zombies

It's so sad to see people working so hard, doing the work of 2+ people every day, and seeing the light drain from their eyes and faces. Everyone seems to have the same "ugh" dejected and defeated look. Pure exhaustion!

The paradox here is that some people are being overloaded while some can coffee badge and work a few hours per day.

The other issue is there in some areas they’re either way understaffed or overloaded so there are large backlogs and others have to wait months to get their requests completed.

No one talks anymore in my area. Half the people have been let go. All you hear is the clicking of keyboards and people in meetings.

@cg spoken like someone who hasn't tried to find a job in the last 6-12 months. Market is rough out there.

"You can find another job" isn't a good rationale to deliberately make things miserable for your workers

I thought the same thing. Never seen so many ugly drained people in my life. Its almost like there's a virus that impacts people who work here. I was talking to a Indian guy the other day and i thought he looked late 50's, turns out he was only 32. When i first started working out of college, there were so many good looking young people, people smiled, had lunch together, even pulled gags for fun. The people in these WF offices look straight up sick. That's a big reason i want get out of here.

Seems like you all need to find a new job. Complain, complain as they pay you to complain. Don’t like it leave. Have the strength to let it go. Stop blaming an organization for your happiness, slavery was abolished 160 years ago, go be your best self’s elsewhere. This board was to find out who was being impacted by layoffs. I’m sure the dozen people I’ve seen crying as they leave the building over the last year would love to have your miserable position.

Speak for yourself. I never worked under 10 hrs a day until RTO and other BS came along. Want to treat everyone like elementary school kids? Don't bi--h when everyone leaves at the bell.

lol. “Working so hard”. If one can do the work of two, doesnt that math tell you that the people were underutilized to begin with?

@op is mad that now a work day constitutes 8hrs minus required breaks. Oh the humanity.
