I am considering applying at Infosys. Can you please tell me honestly how this company is? Do they put the employees first? What are the pros and cons? Are employees happy there? I’m located in the US so I would like to know US experiences please. I know they can be different than in India.

Chaos at the moment. Many offshore folks aren't fulfilling their job tasks. Onshore has to take the brunt of work, while onshore has to dance around our clients.
if u want to work on dead old technologies and also with dim witted freshers (a new batch arrives every 6 months to keep consts low). welcome to Indian IT services firm.
If dont mind spending 80% time co-ordinating and addressing stupid issues rather than doing real tech work and dont mind if you hit career dead end in 4-5 years - welcome to Big indian IT services firms.
If you want talk big about world class processes and management , risk , managed services etc with no real tech backing ..... Welcome to Indian IT services firms...
Apply, interview and you will know. If you care for an anonymyous opinion, well I would not recommend. Unless you are on a visa or good at non-work related chaos. Nothing against infosys or its origin, but do not expect very different culture in US, UK, IN or anywhere they play. Not good.
