As soon as a certain individual came in, there was only ever one direction for the company - down. This is a guy remember who criticised Dave McKendrick (hardly a leader but very much a safe and capable pair of hands), and said that BW was the better option. I mean come on to F**k.
He slated Michaux in a public forum for Aberdeen's delivery performance when we were miles above Houston's (admittedly a low bar).
He took McKinsey in at great expense and basically left us as an open goal for a takeover.
I'd have loved to have seen him discussing the future of the company with Walker
