It's become so clear from this forum that we all hate each other and cannot agree to collectively take action on anything.
This place has become so miserable over the last few years I'm actively rooting for Juan to announce the end of remote at this point so we all suffer.
@xw that’s all across the country - nothing to do with USAA. Why should cheer for elites to fire us because those same elites are gassing us up with black box algorithms safeguarded like nukes to divide us and take our money, land and homes?
I mean I’m remote and the dynamic I see between people, in both personal interactions and through observation feels more and more toxic everyday, so this sentiment hardly surprises me. People are so fed up and strung out they’re not doing basic things to help each other be successful, and management clearly does not give a sh-t. Granted I’m in marketing, so we’re extremely dysfunctional, but it’s such a sad breakdown of the culture I used to love about this place.

Really, they just need to come up with a plan and stick to it. My team comes in once or twice a week. Badge in and then leave an hour or two later. There is no collaboration.
What would be way better is coming up with core days or weeks where we're in the office and WFH or hybrid on other weeks. Maybe 26 weeks of M-Th and 26 weeks of true hybrid.
I kind of get the OP's sentiment; some are following the rules and some are gaming the rules. And none of that matters to the people who have actually been laid off rather than the serial complainers whining every day.

I think OP made this post because of the nonstop RTO complaints on a layoff site where people have lost their jobs, income and insurance.
