It's the only rationale that makes sense in my mind. There is no innovation any more, oh apart from some earbuds, lol. Reduce the workforce, the wellbeing of which went out the window years ago because, well that costs money. They own some realestate probably worth a bit. But no investment at all. Any educated guesses as to when?

@cm GB10 is a prison of vendor lock. Only a fools folly to develop against the "me too" reference design. Bad for customers, worse for Dell. I think it's a because we have to product..
I’m guessing next year, middle or end of calendar year, but timing depends a lot on the AI hype clock. They know Dell is not competitive in the AI space, at least not beyond some big black metal boxes with extra cooling for Jensen’s gpus. So they are racing against the hype bubble popping to make the books look as good as they can at least for a short window til they can find some su---r to buy it. But honestly, the way this thing is going they could just as well be shorting the thing and planning to scoop it up cheap and take it private again.
Anyone selling gb10s?
Serious question…is this something addressing actual need? Or flash in pan that will be dropped in a year?
I think it is more likely just trying to save the stock price until the great PC Refresh and AI revenue finally comes in. I suspect we will need to wait for a new president for more stable economy.
seriously, how would we know.
