Does anybody else find that interesting? I wonder how much they had to pay to keep this under wraps.

Might make the news if they knew who was targeted…. Age and health discrimination might be a good new story.
It's a not a big deal to the outside world. The layoffs that make news are large public corporations that affect a lot more employees than this RIF and/or are from a public company whose stock price may affect readers/viewers portfolios.
I'm sure BBC will post a nine page article any minute now.
