Thread regarding HCSC (Health Care Service Corporation) layoffs

Are contractors going to be affected or just HCSC internal staff/Cigna conveyed employees?

I have several contractors that I rely on to deliver infrastructure needs, as well as developmental projects. Do I need to start planning to lose them or are they safe presumably until their contract is over?

never understood why employees are treated as if they cant do the jobs and we need contractors who are paid more and remote. pay employees more

Lost an IT contractor. Contracts don't guarantee anything

With Contractors you always have to be prepared to lose them, especially with the company is in cost cutting mode the past couple years.

Hard to say, but a lot of areas are shedding contractors. I would try to be prepared for the worst case scenario.
