Why would they close the cafe at 2, like so many employees don't work after 2pm.

Not sure you're a real employee but it is really unfortunate that the restaurants close up. I get that some program "optimized" it, but it was a non-tangible employee benefit. Even if there were not many employees using it, it seems like it was useful. Kind of like accepting cash. I hate the weird scan process.
