4Q Massacre Coming – NVWs in the Crosshairs

The rumor mill isn’t just noise this time, there’s a storm brewing. Multiple friends in high places are warning me NVWs are squarely in the target zone for Q4 layoffs. RTO FTW purges were just the appetizer. Now leadership wants the main course, headcount slashes big enough to make Wall Street smile. If you’re NVW and haven’t committed to moving to a hub, look out! You’ve been warned.

@fr whos angry? I'm very happy I'm getting a fat check to leave. Never in my my life would I transplant my entire life for a company that can't even respect its employees to respond to a survey THEY SOLICITED! If they have an ounce of respect for us they would've done what DOGE did and offer a payout, I would've taken that in a heartbeat. Instead they did an RTO song and dance like we're mo--ns. I haven't worked 5 days a week in an office since 2012, so fat chance I would start now.

Replied to these silly threads before.
2023 they said I’d be gone because I wasn’t in an ATS hub - got an extension.
2024 they said I’d be gone because I wasn’t going to move, got virtual.
2025 they’re saying because I got virtual I’ll be let go.

We will see, but I highly doubt it.
Still WFH, still making $200k+, still chilling, still pumping out more code and business value than most of my peers.

Anyone still NVW carries that designation because they are untouchable. This is just more sour grapes fake news. It is far more likely that 5 day RTO people get hit, as they are the ones targeted for attrition.

We are quickly approaching the 3-year mark after the RTO initiative was announced. The purge should have happened over a year ago.
