@bh I thought they already did. The amount of times a project changes direction. No wonder we never finish them.

It's funny really that senior management focus is on using ai to automate jobs at the bottom when actually the best use would be to replace them with one of those magic 8 ba--s.

DXC also "operates a grade and scale system"

Every year your 4% is taken from you and pot in a pot, the explanation given is that things are tough and rises are difficult.

A dew months later taken out and handed to the Management for their raises, and their is no difficulty giving them raises.

Happens every year, watch D-mbgoole and others get a massive raise for delivering emails to stop travel etc ie nothing.

Why cant they replace these managers/emails with basic Ai type bots?

The client in question operates a grade and scale system, meaning you will be on the same grade as your immediate colleagues. Progression up the scale with experience.

By contrast, DXC determines pay solely through initial negotiation at the point of joining. There is no structured progression; if you want more, the unofficial but widely accepted policy is you have to leave.

Understandable lol

3.6% is 3% more than I’ve from DXC in years

They were offered 3.6% pay increase and a 1% increase to pension contribution. Usually the offer is 4.x% pay so it's understandable why people aren't happy.
