Ask your Supervisor !!!!

Nothing drives me up the wall like the phrase “Ask your supervisor”.

LITERALLY every senior manager, every email from exec, HR, colleagues, company intranet just tells you to Ask your supervisor if you have career ambitions, have family problems, have questions about the company strategy, company CO2 and NOx emissions, oh and while ur at it you can also ask your supervisor what next quarters dividends are gonna be right ???

@dj try it sometime. You think having to do the assessment sham is enjoyable to anyone? 99.9% of supervisors are trying to make the best of a really sh---y system and be as fair as they can to their team with the rules that DE has set. It su-ks to tell people they are Very good or good or need improvement or need significant improvement when you think your team is awesome and want nothing more than for them to feel valued. Believe it or not supervisors aren’t the monsters this board makes it out that they are. It is the cr-ppy system. I don’t know of any supervisors who like the assessment system.

I was told to ask my supervisor to help with widgets. I am a widget master and know more about widgets than anyone in my division. The minions Told me to ask the supervisor for help. I asked and was told some bs advice that made no sense. I fixed the widget problem myself. My stupivisor is a clueless id--t. They have no technical skills or experience. They are a total waste of a human being. They are the blind leading the ones with sight.

As a supervisor I would say I'm usually the last to know what's going on.

In Texas, you can record an employee's conversation without their permission.

If your supervisor is talking to you about anything related to your performance, please note that they are using their iPhone, iPad, or laptop to record the conversation which can and most likely be turned over to H/R for archiving in case of future litigation if you contest your NSI/PIP in court.

Ask your supervisor - new supervisor acts friendly, collects personal data on you with whatever's spin they want to use, fill out a behavioral form and pass it up the line for further spin and placement on the HR behavioral rankings

Old supervisor - acts like he gives a sh1t unless he has a wild hair up his azz for you in which case he tries to use any questions or concerns against you
