In preparation for layoffs is anyone searching elsewhere? How are you finding it? If not, why aren't you looking?

@a8 Hang in there! Have been applying now for years also and have had a few small interviews but being more aggressive about networking & being persistent about making a change. Also congrats to those that have received an external offer.
Not looking, but have used this time to quiet quit, “wfh” and spend a whole lot more time with my kids. That way I figure I’ll have no regrets whatever ends up happening.
@bx Congrats on your new offer! Are you quitting P+, or will you double dip?
I began the search in June, got serious in July, and was offered a new position this past Monday (which I accepted). Surprisingly, just LinkedIn, but I would check it a lot. I applied to a dozen or more jobs. I had three applications turn into interviews, two of which turned into second round interviews, and then finally it narrowed down to this position I just accepted.
Recruiters and direct employers find me on LinkedIn. I have premium subscription. This is not a plug for them, but seriously it’s what’s working for me right now. 5 interviews total 1 offer I turned down, 3 that rejected, on final round in the works I firmly believe will materialize. This all happened over last 3 or 4 months.
Have been applying for the last year to no luck… but still trying. Not feeling positive about department in the upcoming layoffs.
