anyone ever get support needed on mid year? What does it mean. Manager told me it’s not a bad thing but need to see a bit of improvement.

I know two people who got support needed this year. One was put on a PIP and the other one wasn’t so if your manager isn’t worried I don’t think you should be either.
Means your on the layoff list.
@OP hit your monthly AI quota to update your resume and look for other jobs. That’s what I’d do.
Most instances I have seen of this equate to ‘Goodbye’ come next round of layoffs or prior via being fired for non performance.
