Laptop return boxes have started shipping and you won't get your severance unless you return your old clunky laptop. I wonder how O will handle this? Is there some lone shipping and receiving clerk (probably a temp) who will process the tsunami of boxes arriving in the next few weeks?
What will they do with those old laptops? Refurb them and pass them on to new hires?
How many "remote" employees living in California only received 20-days advanced notice? Any chance you still haven't signed the Severance agreement? CA Warn Act requires 60-day advance notice.

@b1 Lump sum = (Annual Salary/52) * Number of weeks of severance.
Late … not until 5:30 EST … lump sum but no explanation of how that amount was reached. Glad to get the stress of Oracle behind me but I’m in solidarity with those who will be struggling to make ends meet. Good luck to all, I’ve worked with some great people through the years.

I was expecting it to already be in my inbox when I got up this morning. The final paychecks did deposit.
