Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Employee survey

In my department, the participation rate is given more importance then the actual results. I'm sick of being harassed to take the survey. When the results are poor, the additional work to bring them up is incumbent on employees, not management. Our employee benefits continue to decline YOY. The only way to protest is to NOT take the survey.

We pointed out one time on a survey we were unhappy with management and management created a committee made up of entirely employees to come of with a correction plan for management instead of management doing their own freaking plan for their failures. Shameful.

The superiors do not care about your opinions in the survey. Nothing will be done.

Although leadership asserts that the Employee Engagement Survey is anonymous, there is credible concern that responses are traceable through login credentials or user profiles. Participation regardless of whether feedback is positive or critical has reportedly led to adverse employment actions, including termination.

Employees who offer favorable comments about their supervisors or colleagues have faced unexpected layoffs. Conversely, those who express constructive criticism or raise concerns about their immediate team or department have experienced similar outcomes. These patterns suggest that the survey may be functioning less as a tool for genuine engagement and more as a mechanism for identifying and removing staff, raising serious questions about its true intent and ethical application.

Promotions are based on how much you su-k up, not your performance, or survey scores. My manager has also been promoted twice despite poor survey scores as well as poor departmental performance.

fill it out and be honest, it might be enough to finally get T Man to let some of the horrible VPs and exec directors go

Surveys mean nothing, been a manager there myself. Right, they look good if you take them, I have seen a director who received the lowest score among all and been promoted (twice).

They lay off based on if you are positive towards the company or not on the survey. Its supposed to be anonymous, but its not.

Not true...score the survey with all the negative energy you show here.

If more than a few do that it pulls their scores. Their bonus is tied to the scores.

It works!
