Well, now we are the epicenter of attention. And I don't feel good about how they are handling what happened here with our su-k a-s safety and security bosses. My friend in corporate called me already and she knew about it so I am guessing you all do. Things like this happen but we are not confident the corporate teams can address this. HR and our managers are trying but everyone knows safety and security is not good and definitely not trusted. Pray for us!

@358 Why is this known to all of us? Isn't this top secret USF data? If they are really sending him to DF's house and he is saying this publicly we have greater worries than his lack of experience.
@47q Soon? Soon? It is closing on a year since the shooting in Montgomery. Allow me to repeat, we almost had people ki-led in one of our DCs and they still have horrible security there. All Papa has to do is call the VPO there and ask him or her what he or she thinks of security in Montgomery and if that is still a problem, what's there to fu--ing wait for? Our employees there are looking for a safe place to work. It is up to Pops to deliver.
Bless y'alls heart. We are praying for all of you. I am sorry we can't seem to get it right for all of you. You are in our hearts and minds.
You right. Aint no difference here in the Monty. Exsept we be getting free food brung in from the boss man some times. Some be opening up boxes and taken food home. Some still be bring in what they need to be safe. Them security po pos outside don't do a mother fu--ing thing. They a joke. One of them po pos be dating on of the girls working.. here. Its samo samo.
@3rh They still working on the mold. Its gone take a minute they be saying. The guards still ain't sh-t but they moved them to another door. But they still don't do sh-t. Our managers even tell us how they don't check no one. The managers say the VP O be saying the same thing when he in town. If we didn't do our job good we would be gone and fired. If ole boy still have his job in security when they know he aint done sh-t good here we knows its a black thing. It just ain't right y'all. We matter too.
I hope you are all doing better in Cincy. Do we know anything from anyone in Montgomery? Did the mold get cleaned up and how is security there?
We had a skirmish in the parking lot last might at my DC. Only employees were involved and noone saw it as two jumped one but no one reported it to noone. I thought about it but not saying sh-t to that leaky faucet that keeps dripping secrets out of his mouth. Others will find out and I will end up getting pi---l whipped or beat down. So we all helped break it up and cleaned off one of our coworkers and now they are back and threating each other. We will just keep them apart this week until they chill the fu-k out. As long as they don't draw down in here, I am good with it.
@36d I agree 100%
DF does have to be safe so that don’t bother me none. But we should be safe too. What’s he done about us? Is this VP the kernel everyone hates on layoffs.com? If it’s one and the same, he would be in a better place shutting his big a-s fu--ing mouth and doing his job.
The VP of security told my boss they recently sent him personally to the CEO's house to do some kind of review and give tips on how to better protect him when he is at home. The VP of security guy already told us the CEO flies private jets and had security guards at his house so what else does DF need? So fu-k us all but protect the mucky mucks only? The VP of securiity also told my boss someone has already hired another guy who is not from US Foods to look at the CEO's house security too. The VP of security said the other outsider wasn't one of his so he wasn't listening to his "bullsh-t advise". Why? Are you that much of an ego maniac? You can't take in any other ideas? That is how we all grow a--hole. And why aren't you making sure we are protected here at work? Like those who attended Food fans in Las Vegas, said in the other posts / you are only taking care of the executives?
It's spelled OSHA actually. That is a good call. I am going to do it for my building. There is a site were I can file complaints on-line and not leave your name or anything personal. I will do it Monday. My husband is in safety at his company and said our problems with Kernel and his not knowing his sh-t is a safety violation because we need to be "afforded a safe working enviroment" says my husband.
Bless y'alls hearts. I have been reading posts every weekend but this is my first comment. Y'all are scaring me too. We have some team employees brining their 'protection' too but the number of people has gone way up. We always had the drinking and thc edibles and stealing of food daily in small amounts but the protection thing has really gone on up. The same with s-x in the bathrooms and parking lots. I don't know what is going on with our America but y'all need to stop on the number of g-ns and knives. Some of us aint with that. We won't rat on the stealing going on and won't on the g-ns either but y'all need to think about us that don't like g-ns. I understand why y'all are doing it but the answer ain't more g-ns right? Why caint we just call that goverment safety -OSAH- and tell them we aren't safe and see if they can do something. If every market calls, they may push our mgrment to do some thing.
Y’all are doing the right thing. If my town’s top cop didn’t know what the fu-k he was doing, I would carry all of the time. I would sleep with my 9. Same difference with work. Like the OJ attorney said, If the VP security don’t fit, you must bring it.
Now it’s time to get back to my game. Roll Tide!
It’s the same thing in Spokane. We have to do our own security work. I don’t want to because that could make things worse if something happens at work but at least we will live to tell about it. Then I can sue and prove that the company knew and did nothing and retire for life.
Now we are even more worried. All of the layoffs pi-s people that were let go off and we haven't done sh-t to our security better. My old company gave us talks and did things to protect us. Since our security group doesn't have a clue or maybe doesn't give a sh-t, we need more 2ND AMENDMENT representation here. I was against it but we have to take matters into our own hands since we don't have any other choice and our executives, director of business, security VP, or law or HR VP hired the clueless. I don't fu--ing know who hired the unexperienced but now we are paying the price for your fu-k up.
Girl that is everywhere. We in Montgomery and they still can’t get it right here. I been looking for a job but can’t find a good enough one. If they get close I still leave because this job no reason to die for. I’m going to jet on out as soon as I can. Bet.
I do not feel safe at work with all y’all bringing your own “protection “ to work. All it takes is one y’all to have a bad day or fight or be off on some of those pills and weed some y’all be taking and then I am dead. Don’t bring those to work. Putting them in your lockers and hiding them overnite is the same. Y’all just need to leave them at home. I’m a second amendment man but don’t think all people are created equal. And shouldn’t have g-ns. Some of y’all I work with ain’t right in the head to be in the second amendment.
@2j8 I already heard about this. There were no g-ns involved. It was just a couple of shitheads getting into it. Colonel S told us about it after the calls and said the confrontation was "brought on themselves" - local management. He said region HR and compliance not handling it right in the past is the "cause and effect". He said all incidents with violence in the work place since he arrived has been the local distribution center leaders' and local and regional HR's faults for letting the "culture" get to where it was in your distribution centers and giving the wrong direction. So under the bus you all go. He said he has been working with the VP of HR and other leaders to get them thinking and reacting right in the future.
I can't say. I am a manager here and they will know who I am if I talk too many details about it. It was serious enough to call the police and it is still a problem. We are looking around but ready if they come and cause a ruckus. I know some of our employees here carry g-ns so they would have handled it if it got out of control. I am just glad we are not on the coast with those bleeding heart libs or we could be in trouble if anything happened that was worse because they are anti 2nd amendment in them there parts. We are ready if it comes to our door.
Wow, was anyone hurt? Was there gunplay?
We had a work in place violent problem here in the great northwest a couple of days back. The police had to come. That is all I will say right now but our managers said security didn’t give much help. It’s not the first time here either. Please help and bring in better security leaders with ideas. BTW, the work in place video is a useless piece of sh-t. They wasted money on that first grade level training.
THE SECOND AMENDMENT is always the right answer! It's what makes us AMERICANS!
@29k That is the answer here too. I am not a fan but our guards are useless. Worse, I wouldn't call anyways because the big mouth cop would talk and my name would be all over this board. So I just keep my head down and work. What else is a lady to do.
No fu--ing sh-t. Every one knows and some choose to bring their own means to protect them selves. The executives gave us the biggest lemonhead to protect us so remember this, when they give us lemons, make lemonade.
It goes down at all of our US Foods buildings. It is unfortunate that these days bring out the crazies at all companies but it happens more than most at US Foods. I think it is cause we are:
a. Soft on crime
b. Bad security
c. Bad investigations
d. bad security
e. Bad hiring
f. Bad security
g. part of the times nowadays and is on the news all the time
h. Bas security
Because of these weird days, it is more important that ever to have good security. Where I used to work we had manufacturing plants with much lower pay workers with a bad history. We had more employees and buildings than here but we had less violence and threatening behavior than there. Why? Our security here was always bad but appears to have become worse this year after reading about the FF show and the bad security still in Montgomery after the shooting. If you can't get it right after a person was almost shot, something or someone is seriously wrong. I will not cast blame but the company is legally responsible for keeping us safe. I hope the Montgomery employees were smart enough to sue. I hope it goes down in my market when I am there and I will dance my a-s to the court room.
We had a contractor flip out in my distibution center and he still here. Now I know it is a company thing and not just our managers.
It ain't the first time we have had this sh-t go down here. Ain't no one got to worry about they getting busted for it so why should it.
Is HR's, IT's, Compliance, Operations, and Security's management style to hide everything under the rug? It almost caused people to be ki-led in Montgomery, from mold and hiding many violent situations in 6 months, and now you do the same in Ohio? Shame on all of you.
@177 No we are not good here. The problem child is still here.
That's good news. Are y'all good in Cinci?
@15h I heard the food didn't have mold. A friend told me that there were tests and the places with food were not a problem. He said only the office is a problem and everyone has been driven out into safe areas. He sad he turned off the axcess badges to the office while it gets cleaned out so no one will get hurt.
I have a question. Does the mold in Montgomery affect the food? If it does, they would be fu---d.
Nice job Montgomary. Should one of us also call someone on the breach-hacker that entered us? II think we should call the police or google who to call. I am afraid my information has been taken. I read about it in a different post. Am I crazy or should one of us call and can we do it anonymously? I do thank Kernel sanders for telling some us or we wouldn't know it.
We just filed to OSHA on line tonight. Calling the news and city on Monday. Thanks y'all for telling us what to do. We are scared. Security still falling asleep out there and managers know they bad. I bets if you ask the VPO he know they bad. So security been here and they cant? If I didnt do my job I would gets fired. Why won't yall fire security? Then the mold problem too and they just feed us for free but don't tell us sh-t? Nah, we had to call. If yall had just told the truth and what yall doing about it we would have been straight. But yall playing games.
Us too at our distro center. I thought that now that we had a security team that they would take violence seriously but it is the same as before. Sweep it under the rug and move on. Sad.
We had a problem with an employee in my distribution center too but HR just handled it with our Distribution Center VP. I work in the office so I was worried and asked why they didn't tell anyone on the floor or tell security or ethics and they said last time they didn't do much and it slowed things down so we they just resolved it. I trust them more since they are here with us. I trust them much more than that security rep everyone is talking about on this site. Those articles are unbelievable. We wouldn't have even hired him to work in allied universe security and watch the parking lot here at our DC. But anyways, trust your office folks. They work in the distribution centers with all of us so they would get rid of bad people. At least at our distribution center.
You will call all of them? Good for you. Or should I say y'all? You should keep the pressure on until you are respected and cherished.
Good idea. We did call them once in Montgomery and will do it again tomorrow. Thanks y'all.
They do that here in Cincinaughty all of the time. You can be naughty and they cover it up. But I hear they do that everywhere. Our Bless the people in Montgomery. Did any of you sue them? An attorney can pay you for your mental and psyche stress because it happened while you were there. They will take the case for free. If you still don't feel safe, contact OSHA! You can do it on-line and remain anonymous. You can also call city managers and your largest customers for help. Your problem is more fu---d up than ours.
Same ole sh-t in Montgomery. They put up detectors for g-ns but they don’t use them right. And with doors and bay doors, sh-t flow in and out any ole ways. Motha fu----s still don’t get it. Then, we still roll up to work and forget to take sh-t out of our pockets and the detector be going off and they don’t pay no mind. Now we have some health wall mold problem and they play us for su-kas and be telling us it is just them going to fix up the office to make it nicer looking when we know what the real deal is. But at least they dealing with that quickly and we trust them. But security is still a motha fu--ing joke. They sent that security fool down here 2 or 3 times but he don’t know what to do.. it’s a damn shame. We ready ourselves though and some workers be having they things inside in case something go down again. New VPO cool but he won’t be staying here long. They hired someone as new VPO and they was gone in a week back to where they came. They know how fu---d up sh-t is here.
