Massive layoff coming to enterprise tech

Based on the rumors floating around, we should brace for a significant headcount reduction in December or January. Word is they're considering shutting down the architecture group entirely, along with several of the vanity projects.

They should layoff management. HR is capable of doing what managers do. Mine just tells me to call HR for stuff all the time anyway and doesn’t do really anything.

Oh yeah? I heard they are eliminating the software engineering role. All coding will now be done by scrum masters using AI tools.
