If they advertise a very enticing package I bet a lot of senior people will take it.
Next month, in mid October.
Option 1: Laying off senior management roles to compensate for H1B additional costs
Option 2: During the ongoing hiring freeze, the management can choose a subset of H1B candidates and give up the rest
Existing employees with H1B will less likely to be laid off, since getting new H1B costs more
Nope, this H1B thing is going to do it for them.
