Hey it's 2X return to 501c3 charities. Not bad, I just ponied up the max and informed legal so I am off the naughty list. I love HON to the core of my being. Imagine a place where new hires are RIF, the old and slow are RIF, the top performers are RIF, and us 5 blockers are developed in place for life and simply wait for the next high growth region call and some silly hour. I just simply wear my HIPAC pin, drink from my HIPAC coffee mug on camera, and say YES we can to the new manager.

Worked at a site that’s since been spun off but 6-7 years ago we got an email that the site had good HiPac participation but our $ per participant was too low to appease HON corporate!!!! So they want us to up to $$. Unbelievable. And FYI working for the spin off sucked as much as Honeywell. Fortunately I’m gone.

My director level boss asked me about it once in a skip level one on one. I was a band 3 at the time. I said that I thought that was for band 4 and above and if I get promoted to band 4 then I'll consider it.
He never mentioned it again.

Every year for 15 years running either a Sr Director or VP pressed me to join. Most years they implied at risk of no promotions, lower HPD etc. one year I gave $0.01 per month. I just took the long way back from lunch or showed up late for conference calls to make up for it. Back to zero now as a RIF is a blessing!!!

Fitting that we named it after a failed Japanese cassette tape format. Those guys definitely sound like a bad mix tape when they call to strong arm you.

Noticed my manager wears a HIPAC pin. Wonder if his HPD for next year will have a goal to recruit one or more of us to become HIPAC supporters

I can't believe the government hasn't shut this illegal campaign contribution mill down. What a F***in joke of a company!

If anyone ever looked at the persuasion that HON forces on employees to donate to HIPAC they would see how far across the legal lines they have crossed. This company brags about their PAC being the most funded of company PACs And they force (yes illegally force) employees to donate. Hey government - maybe stop taking the money and investigate this corruption - but you don’t care because you are the beneficiary- hmm
