Everyone knows its a bent system, the guys at the top raiding the company and delivering shrinkage, then saying they have limited money for folks raises.

Lead by example, the Executives need to take big cuts until they deliver growth.

There's a continuous goal of reducing the wage bill. You can see it clearly in the reported ceo pay ratio.

The median wage is $26k last time they reported.

This is still higher than Accenture.... Who they seem to idolise (despite Accenture not really being the same business)

As such they think they can keep slicing off expensive (aka skilled people) and that's the secret of success....

Notice however that executive pay is never treated the same. No, those guys are utterly invaluable and command remuneration that far outstrips directly comparable businesses...
