@OP

The title is an oxymoron. If you are mediocre you are not a leader.

Stinky is not a leader, he's just a mediocre corporate politician that got the top job.

Mediocre is already nice. What he's done to AT&T is a shame. What the board allowed to happen is a shame. The entire executive team at AT&T is a bunch of mediocre corporate animals with no talent whatsoever.

Calling them leadership is a joke.

Stink would be 1000% better if he were just mediocre.

Stink is a total looser POS that is not fit to run a lemonade stand.

Stink is the worst CEO in US history except for the ones in jail. Stink would be better off taking a permanent vacation to a mental institution.

I would be happy with mediocre leadership instead of what exists.

Sorry, disagree. If we had just had mediocre leadership we wouldn't be $100 Billion ++ in debt. If Stephenson and Stankey had done nothing for years we would be in a much stronger financial position. No, instead we have a dark triad sociopath with bad strategy running the ship onto the rocks. No accountability from the board, the chairman, the ceo.

We had a grand puffed-up collection of Okies and Midwit Sociopaths borrow hundreds of billions in the company name. Far, far away from mediocre my fellow traveler.

“It might be time to quietly start looking elsewhere.”

I have been actively looking for over a year and am not getting any responses.

Here is the money shot:
"That said, if your company is failing to support remote work, or actively pushing back on your attempts to foster it, see it for what it is: a red flag. It may be a sign of reactive leadership, misaligned priorities, or financial struggles. It might be time to quietly start looking elsewhere. "

I think you can skip the "quietly" part.
