I use Slack to message someone to say, "what time are you available by phone today?"
I would suggest you do the same

@fq This is about erasing messages from 'discovery' in lawsuits.
From Slack’s published policies:
On free Slack workspaces, Slack changed its retention policy so that messages and files older than one year are permanently deleted on a rolling basis.
Users on free plans still have full access to message history and files from the past 90 days, versus the full one‑year window.
The “lifetime history” option (i.e. keeping all messages forever) is not available on the free plan anymore.
Slack is a tool of 'Big Brother'! Just like 5G. Its all about keeping an eye on you!
Slack is the destroyer of corporate cohesion and erases any hope of employee loyalty. The V Team has been replaced with "do unto others, before they do unto you."
