With all the new VPs, SVPs, AVPs, etc., we are so top heavy. No wonder we have a partnership with Dollywood!

@d6 Nothing but the truth! It’s a sad truth.
That’s funny…. 😂
@cg
So why do CEOs keep hiring Consultant firm?
1. To have someone to blame later. (“Hey, it wasn’t me, McKinsey told us to do it!”)
2. To impress the board. (“If we paid $3 million for this strategy, it must be good, right?”)
3. To feel like they’re “thinking outside the box,” while paying handsomely to have the same box explained back to them.
The founders are all gone now and Humana has become an investment vehicle run by former "big four" consultants, squeezing every nickel and dime from those who survived each round of layoffs until they are doing several people's jobs. But don't worry, the survivors guilt is only temporary. Another consultant will be brought in to drive the department into the ground, gradually laying off remaining experienced staff so the function can be outsourced and offshored. This happened to my team a couple of months ago, and since then I've heard from others this behavior is getting worse.
@a8 Wow, you got me good with that “boo hoo” dig! Really, bravo!
I will probably take the rest of the night off now in order to try and recover.
Have a good evening.
@a6 boo hoo
@a4 This site is meant for things related to layoffs.
Take your teenage vulgarity somewhere besides this site. Definitely not appropriate here…or really anyplace, for that matter.
@a3 dude was talking bout Tatas amd you make it about work. Tf wrong with you.
Professionals can’t even get promoted in this company, if they are it’s far and few in between.
