How sc--wed are we now that DoorDash is taking over? I've only heard bad things but that's mostly about how the company treats its drivers. What about the rest of us? Is it just as bad? To say I'm nervous about this whole thing would be an understatement of the century.

Start working on getting out now, if you can.
DoorDash management has gone down the trash in the last several years; upper management is extremely toxic. There hasn't been an official layoff since 2022, but I've consistently seen reports of DD "disappearing" employees.
Your job isn't secure. Make plans to get out and execute quickly.
