My HR said that it will be huge - despite running well - they have to find money for CAPEX, and all people who are not into sales, will be reduced. All BDMs, pre-sales left. Everything has to be centralised in Centre of Excellence in Egypt. So if you're tech or apps presales you can move to Cairo, or bye.. well.

Even if you are not affected I would upskill and have an exit plan ready. And what nobody talks about: I always save up enough money to have 3 months of expenses covered in my emergency fund. It is good to be ready for bad times!
All the big international companies are doing layoffs quite heavily this past half year and there is no signs that they will stop, especially not at Oracle. Be ready if it affects you.
