No. Ford nor Trump would allow the sale.

why would they buy now... just wait until it becomes penny stock or bankrupt and you can buy for cheaper.
No, they might not...but wouldn't they want the extra manufacturing capacity? I'm sure at some point they'll be allowed to sell in the US - that is only a matter of time. When they do why wouldn't they want a head start in output capacity?
No companies in their right mind would want to buyout Ford.
Once customers get a taste of the next-gen Model e products and services, you watch, the success will put Ford in the position to buy BYD. Won't be long.
One thing is for sure: Stellantis will be the first to go out of business and be bought in pieces by a Chinese company. People at the Skunkworks were laughing at Xiaomi 2 years ago, look who is laughing now. Farley loves the SU7 and publicly admitted it. DF is steering the ship towards Apple Cobblerland, would not surprise me at all if Apple has a part in Ford's EV side of the business since they failed after $$$ on Project Titan.
Byd does not buy junk brands.
@ab So Ford is stuck in a way?
No company will want to buyout Ford, unless Ford can get rid of the UAW.
The only vehicle that anyone want is the F series pickup truck, and nothing else.
@a1 Honestly that sounds pretty genius. Would be a good play for Ford and whoever buys the f150 line. Should rebrand it too as homage to Ford's style, past is the past.
Somebody will eventually buy the F150 brand, nobody wants any of the rest of Ford.
