Lifestyle company builds world class SOC with CPU, GPU, neural network etc… AS A SIDE PROJECT and completely destroys Intel’s best efforts.

It’s just embarrassing.

“There were two reasons we did not go with them. One was that they are just really slow. They are like a steamship, not very flexible. We are used to going pretty fast. Second is that we just did not want to teach them everything, which they could go and sell to our competitors,”

Jobs on Intel and the rest is history.

Has Intel changed or still the same arrogant self?

It is interesting to see how people quote religious doctrine, look pious and charitable and yet trash others. You can see lifestyle has changed and all companies cater to the changing conditions. If you didn't, you are living in alternate reality.

The arrogance of Intel is amazing.

Continues with the clown in ugly Christmas sweater about who is in the rear view mirror.

One company seems to talk a lot and deliver nothing but layoffs!

Yeah and that 'lifestyle' company makes better mobile processors then Andy Grove's TA.

I loved when the CEO referred to Apple as a "Lifestyle Company". It's got to be humiliating to be bested by a such a company that doesn't even specialize in CPUs.
