Heard of RIFs in marketing and people having to appt/reapply for roles. Any insights?

@sb I was this Humana marketing or was CenterWell sales leadership affected?
The majority of marketing has to reapply for 285 open roles. I don't know how many roles we had previously but the new team structure seems much smaller. It has impacted the HIVE, the indiviual marketing strategy teams and operations. The big focus is shift to Adobe from Salesforce. Leader roles posted on 7/15 and indiviual contributor roles on 10/20. Some folks were reassigned but not many. We have 60 days from notification to find new roles. Go/marketingteamupdates for info.

@ae don't know how many ..I was told some people on my "team" are affected...but no one has said anything or mentioned anything...
I know that marketing folks on the sales side have been impacted.
@ac That's surprising. How many in that department? I always imagined finance as one of the more stable departments at Humana

We no longer need marketing. Just making TikTok ads with AI.
Sorry not sure which part of marketing . Someone confirmed that some were told they are safe and the others could apply for a role or RIF
